Chemical Description
- Acrylamide has the characteristics of crosslinking agent monomer because of its molecular structure containing polymerizable double bond and condensation of two active hydroxymethyl groups.
- It is widely used in fiber modification, resin processing, coatings, plastics, adhesives, oil field additives and soil improvers. It can also be polymerized with a variety of monomers in water-based chemicals to make polymers with excellent performance, which is a very widely used fine chemical.
Well Drilling Mud Raw Materials:
- In oil field exploration and development and exploration of geology, water and coal, it is used as adhesive of well drilling mud raw materials.
- It can improve the service life of drill bits, improve the drill speed and drilling footage, and reduce plugin replacing drill, and has prominent well slough preventing effect, and it can be used as fracturing fluid of oil fields or plugging agent of controlling profile and plugging water.
Industrial Wastewater Treatment:
- When anionic polyacrylamide is used as a flocculating agent, the required dosage is only 1/50th of that of inorganic flocculating agents.
- Despite this smaller quantity, its effectiveness is several times greater than that of organic flocculating agents, and in some cases, even dozens of times better.
Textile Auxiliary Agent:
- The product can be combined with other chemicals to create chemical grout.
- It is also used in starching textiles, where it enhances adhesive properties, penetrability, and desizing performance.
- Additionally, it endows the textile with electrostatic prevention capabilities, decreases the rate of desizing, and minimizes issues such as starch mixing spots, machine breakdowns during cloth processing, and the incidence of falling objects.
Paper-making adhesive:
- The product can serve as a fining agent, retention agent, and filtration aid in the paper-making industry. It also acts as an agent to reinforce both the dry and wet strength of paper.
Mine Washing:
- The product can be utilized in the centrifugal separation of coal washing tailings.
- It is effective in the sedimentation and filtration of coal powder and coal mud, enhancing the recovery rate of coal powder and increasing the speed of filtration.
Sewage Water Treatment:
- This product can be used in conjunction with flocculating agents such as PAC (polyaluminum chloride) and aluminum sulfate, achieving optimal results in water treatment.
Metallurgical Mineral Dressing:
- The product can be employed in the flotation and smelting processes of zinc, manganese, and copper mines. Adding it to the leachate and slag can enhance the separation efficiency.
Oil field profile controlling and water-plugging agent:
- The product can be combined with lignocellulose, and by adding a certain amount of chemical adhesive, it can be used as a profile controlling and water plugging agent in oil fields.
Soil humectants:
- It can be used to retain water and stabilize sand in soil, and acts as a moisturizing agent for planting grass on slopes, tree planting, as well as for sand stabilization and dust control in soil.
